Ashleigh Julianne walked out the door of her cousin's home. She considered it a beach house, but her cousin lived there year round. Ash walked down the street and around the corner. Her cousin's boyfriend wasn't working today, but he already picked one out for her. As she opened the heavy door to the surf shack, the bells jingled signaling someone entering. Ashleigh looked around the whole shack waiting for Caitlyn. She was too uncomfortable to go up and look at the skateboard her cousin's boyfriend, Eric, left out. She hoped Eric left a good skateboard because she wanted to impress Caitlyn.
"Can I help you?" an employee questioned her while she was hiding in the store. "Oh, hi, I'm actually waiting for my friend Caitlyn. There should also be a skateboard at the front desk thing..Eric left it for me," Ashleigh blushed and quickly turned away after the employee nodded. Hurry up Caitlyn.

Caitlyn was skating down the road towards the beach where she was going to meet Ashleigh, and quite frankly, she was thinking that Ashleigh was mad at her for being late. Must be the nerd in me she thought as she skated faster. Sometimes, she wished that she owned a car, but then she remembered why she skate-boarded and walked everyday: she was hard-core environmentalist, a person who wants to save the planet from too much pollution. Besides, she didn't see too many cars in Hawaii, so why should she bother with the idea? She smiled as she saw the surf shack in her line of vision, and she hopped off her skate-board as she carried it under her arm and she walked towards the shack, where she knew she'll find Ashleigh waiting for her.
She walked into the shack, looking for her friend. Finally, after a few minutes of searching, she saw Ashleigh, hovering around the counter. She walked up to her. "Sorry I am late!
[/color]" she explained. She glanced around the shack. Surf-boards, skate-boards, and among other boards were in the shack, just as she imagined it would be. And right on the beach, too. It was sort of surreal to Caitlyn, who remembered on her last trip to the beach, there was no surf shack, nor surfers in the water. She smiled. Oh, this was too good. She turned her attention back to Ashleigh. " So, where is this skate-board I heard about?[/color] she asked. She was really excited to teach Ashleigh how to skate. She didn't consider herself much as a teacher, but with Brandon as a mentor, she learned enough to teach Ashleigh too.
