Most normal human beings would consider vampires, werewolves, and the like, a myth. They do not exist, and will never. That's what everyone in New Jersey thought, until the year 2000, when the immortal population suddenly skyrocketed, taking over the government. For a decade they've run this place, making the laws and keeping their existence hush-hush from the rest of the world. With the union of Aiden Wrede and Corena Mezaros, influential members of the werewolf and vampire clans, a hierarchy was established, with the wolves and vampires at the top. The lesser shapeshifters and werecats resided somewhere near the middle of the food chain, and the mortals, their numbers dwindling due to constant conversion, are beginning to become close to extinct in the town of Seaside Heights.
There will be perils in this seemingly perfect setting. The lower-class werecats, mutts, and shifters are struggling to be known as a working force, and whispers of rebellion, revolt, and revolution are sweeping through the ghettos and tattered neighborhoods. The humans are struggling to remain mortal, and many are hiding in the country-side to avoid conversion. The ever-present tension between the werewolves and vampires threatens to give way every new day, and the leaders of the Seaside Heights covenant are struggling to keep the races calm.
Will you change the dynamic of this fragile community, or be an unmentioned part of the history of New Jersey? Either way, the secrets of this place are not so secret anymore.
